Bowers Museum - Warriors, Tombs, and Temples: China's Enduring Legacy

Make plans to join fellow Illinois alumni for this exciting February event!

What:  A tour of the extraordinary visiting exhibit, "Warriors, Tombs, and Temples: China's Enduring Legacy" at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana.  The Bowers Museum is one of only two US venues that the Chinese government is allowing to display this very special exhibit.  The audio tour is approximately 1 hour and docents are stationed throughout the exhibit to answer questions and provide additional insights.

For those interested, we will be meeting at the lovely Tangata restaurant (located on-site) for refreshments following the tour (refreshments not included in ticket price).  This is a great opportunity to catch up with fellow alumni.

The Bowers Museum also has several other fantastic exhibits on display.  Museum hours are 10am-4pm.  The audio tour will begin at 1:00 pm.   

When:  Sunday, February 19, 1:00 pm.  Please meet at the Will Call window at 12:45 pm to pick up your tickets. We will join the tour as a group at 1:00 pm.

Cost:  $20 members, $23 non-members, Free for children 6 and under.  Price includes access to the special exhibition and all permanent museum exhibits.  Ticket price does not include refreshments at Tangata restaurant following the tour.
