Bolsa Chica Guided Walking Tour: October 11th
Join fellow Illini alumni on October 11th for a free guided walking tour of the Bolsa Chica wetlands and mesa. Learn about the history of Bolsa Chica, its wildlife, and plant life with a Bolsa Chica Land Trust docent.
The two-hour tour begins at 10 a.m. from the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve South parking lot on Pacific Coast Highway across from Bolsa Chica State Beach (on PCH between Warner Avenue and Seapoint Street).
Look for the white canopy and tables at the back of the lot by the footbridge, which is where you will meet the docent. Wear comfortable shoes and sun protection and be sure to bring binoculars or a camera! Don’t forget to wear Illini gear!
This tour is open to the public; however, I’d like to get a count to register our group so please RSVP by September 28th.
